There are moments that are not profound.
Not epic.
It isn't beautiful or funny, it's just something that happened.
Then their's something else, an astounding series of minuscule events. Going for coffee, dinner and a quick call to a nearby friend and everything changes. A roller coaster of epiphanies. You were meant to in some form or another do these little things so they bring you to a particular moment, a particular meeting.
A gathering with new friends who know old friends; current friends and people you never expected.
Your friend from Melbourne is with their friends from Canada who are friends with your friends from Canada. And we all know the girl who served the tapas earlier in the day.
All the night before your friend has a trial at the place you went to coffee earlier in the day. The coffee place whose presence called to you as you walked past.
Call it coincidence, call it fate, but if I can tell you one thing: if it's meant to happen, it will. It'll creep up on you like a mouse in the night, but this time maybe you'll appreciate it. It'll happen more than once. It can be a way of life if you let it come. Some call it fate, but I have faith that this is the path I'm meant to be taking.

- Coffee at Grind.
- An incredible surf like no one has seen before.
- Tapas and casual conversations.
- A lull; there will always be a lull, which brings you to a phone call. A call that brings you to a dinner gathering.
A gathering with new friends who know old friends; current friends and people you never expected.
